Corozo nut buttons, made in England

Corozo nut buttons, made in England

Our corozo buttons are made from the tagua nut, often referred to as “vegetable ivory”. Harvested from palm trees in South America, corozo is a natural, renewable material prized for its density and fine grain.

Strong, durable and resistant to everyday wear, corozo takes dye exceptionally well, allowing for rich, consistent colour. We use these buttons across jackets, shirts, waistcoats, linen tops and coats, where their subtle lustre and strength provide a dependable, natural finish.

Our tweeds: single cheviot cloth

Our tweeds: single cheviot cloth

Our tweeds are woven in the Scottish Borders by a historic family-run mill with more than two centuries of textile production.

This single Cheviot cloth is a classic Scottish tweed woven from Cheviot wool. Balanced in weight and handle, it sits between the heavier sporting tweeds and the softer fine Cheviot cloths. Durable, versatile and dependable, it has long been used for everyday jackets and coats where resilience and practicality are required.

Made at the North London factory

Made at the North London factory

The majority of our garments are made in the same North London factory we have worked with for over a decade. Over that time we have built a close working relationship grounded in trust, mutual respect and shared standards.

The factory is a short journey from us, and we are there regularly – reviewing samples, discussing details and refining patterns. Design and production are not separate stages; they are part of a single continuous process. From fabric sourcing and initial ideas through to pattern cutting, sewing and finishing, we are involved throughout.

We are proud of the garments that leave the workshop and of the skilled people who bring them to life.
