Colenimo is a London-based clothing label founded by Aya Burns, built around everyday clothes designed to be worn often, lived in and returned to over time. Rather than following seasons, Colenimo focuses on continuity: familiar shapes reappear in different fabrics, colours and weights, gradually forming a personal wardrobe.

Many of the garments remain in the collection for years. A smock, a coat, a gilet, each evolving slightly, but always recognisable. Customers often return to the same piece in another fabric, or add to it over time.

All pieces are made in small runs, using natural fabrics like Irish linen, wool and cotton. Colenimo works closely with small makers and workshops across the UK, choosing materials for how they feel, wear and age.

The brand grew from a shop on Columbia Road in East London, where Aya is often present. The shop continues to shape the collection, through conversations, fittings and the everyday lives of the people who wear the clothes.

Colenimo is not about constant newness. It is about making clothes that become part of daily life, worn without thinking and kept for a long time.
